A 21 st century restaurant renaissance is underway in the Principality of Monaco. New eateries are opening, others are polishing their Michelin stars and some of the world’s most celebrated chefs are flocking to the shores of the Mediterranean, inspired by its rich culinary heritage and abundance of fresh and flavorful ingredients. Within its borders there are 130+ restaurants, of which six boast a combined nine Michelin stars, a striking culinary accomplishment for such a petite province.
